CCS solved serious medical/mold issue for us My husband was recently diagnosed with CIRS which is an autoimmune reaction to mold and bacteria that was in his environment. We called Charlotte Comfort Systems and got IMMEDIATE attention from Ric Hendrickson and his team. He was very familiar with what needed to be done and after consultation with our doctor, he sprang into action. Knowing, (from his own personal experience) how important it was to act quickly, Ric put us at the front of the line for service and quickly ordered a state of the art filtering system as well as an ERV for each of our HVAC units. He evaluated our ductwork and determined that one system had old and inferior flexible ductwork that must be replaced, the other duct system just needed cleaning. Within a week, we had a team headed by David Honeycutt begin a weeklong task of transforming the air in our home into “hospital quality air”. We were so appreciative to have both these men act so quickly and decisively to remediate the air that we were breathing, especially when it came to light that there was visible mold in the ductwork that was replaced. After they were finished, we had a company clean the ductwork that wasn’t replaced and when they found mold on some of the registers, Ric and David dropped everything and went on a city wide hunt to find replacement registers and got new ones installed within 1 day. If you find yourself in need of mold remediation and/or HVAC evaluation for this sort of thing, I highly recommend them. We can already tell the difference in my husband’s condition although full recovery will take a very long time, so we are told by our doctor. I am confident that if we run into any other problem, these men will give us their best.

I had previously used Charlotte Comfort Systems to service my AC, so I had them come out and verify that the AC unit was not salvageable. Found it had also damaged the blower in the furnace.
