Charlotte Comfort Systems, Inc. was founded in 1998 by owner Scott M. Shelton, after many years of working in the heating, cooling and air quality business. After seeing things in the industry he thought needed changing, Scott decided it was time to form his own company and to model it after the values he believed in — a personal, hands-on customer service, an emphasis on complete satisfaction, and performing services without any hidden costs or "surprises." Following up on service after the sale is a benchmark of the company. Not many companies have a president who follows up service orders with a personal phone call, but Charlotte Comfort Systems is not like the other companies.

Scott currently serves as past-president of the Charlotte Heating & Air Conditioning Contractors Association and is a member of the Charlotte chapter of NARI^®, the National Association of the Remodeling Industry. Charlotte Comfort Systems is staffed by a group of dedicated and trained technicians who are keeping up-to-date on the latest technology in heating and cooling. Our NATE-certified technicians are not paid on a commission, so there is no incentive for them to pressure customers to do unnecessary, additional work.
